Congratulations to Antonio Gonzalvez for completing the 85th running of the Comrades Marathon in South Africa overnight. Antonio covered the grueling 89km course in just over 11 hours. The Comrades marathon is one of the toughest ultra-distance running events in the world that requires months on end of training in the lead up to the event. Antonio showed great mental and physical strength to get through the race that was run from the inland city of Pietermaritzburg to Durban in what is know as the “down” run.
Antonio we are all extremely proud of you and we can’t wait to help you celebrate such a great achievement when you come home.
